O'Brien is funded by a developers' special interest group led by a landlord who cooperated with ICE. This building owner conspired with the Trump administration to raid a Chicago apartment complex where agents rappelled from helicopters and dragged children from their beds. In addition to working with ICE, this landlord began evictions to kick residents of the damaged South Shore building into the streets. James O'Brien is taking money from these very people, proving he won’t stand up for us.

O'Brien himself has said that when corporate special interests support candidates, it isn't out of the kindness of their hearts. So why is he taking their money? This shady real estate group has clear priorities:
